Heather M. Cairns, Esquire

Heather M. Cairns is a native of Cleveland, Ohio, and has lived in South Carolina for over thirty years. She has practiced law in her adopted home of Columbia, since 2005, when she first entered private practice. Her focus areas include estate planning, wills and trusts and probate administration.

Heather previously served on the Richland County Planning Commission, the Board of Zoning Appeals and served on the Board of Directors of the South Carolina Chapter of the ACLU. 

Heather is an active member of St. Martin’s-in-the-Fields Episcopal Church in Columbia and a former Senior Warden. She lives in the Forest Acres area of Richland County with her wife, three dogs and cat. In her free time you are likely to find her on the golf course, at the beach or deep into a home remodeling project.
